WOW. OK, the dog had $12 million in inheritance , now only $2 million as Leona Helmsley’s family fought to have it reduced, stating she was not in “her right mind” at the time.
Trouble, the nine year old Maltese, should have funds through the remaining $2 million to care for him for the next 10 years.
The dog’s care: Security: $100,000; Grooming, $8,000; Food, $1,200; Medical $2,500 to $18,000; Miscellaneous, $3,000; and, Caretaker, $60,000 per year.
